Paprika is made from dried peppers and varies in flavour based on what types of peppers are dried and pulverised. Paprika offers a low-intensity pepper flavour without much heat or sweetness. Its use is widespread in Hungarian cuisine – it is one of the key ingredients of Goulash – and also Spanish cuisine. It can also be used at the end as a seasoning on many dishes including the classic Prawn Cocktail!
