Shallots are related to onions but have a much milder and sweeter flavour than that of an onion. As the Shallots are dried, it is recommended to rehydrate them for approximately twenty minutes in cold water before use. They can then be used as fresh Shallots. They are a perfect addition to salad dressings, mayonnaise, sauces, salads and a wide range of other dishes.
