Sichuan Berries are one of the oldest Chinese spices that originate from the southwestern Sichuan Province.  The dried brown berries have a woody taste and lemony, peppery aroma.  The berry can be used whole, especially in Sichuan cuisine; in its ground form it is one of the ingredients for Chinese five-spice powder.
