Origin: Madagascar (20g)
Traditionally produced in Madagascar, Turmeric looks like a course rhizome similar to ginger. The rhizomes are prepared by blanching, drying and then reducing them to a fine powder. Madagascan Turmeric has a high level of curcumin – double that of Indian Turmeric – making it a true spice and not just simply a colouring. It gives food a golden yellow colour and works well with Ginger, Cumin, Coriander and Chilli.
